Graphic terms

Hey today i am doing some definitions for graphic terms
Animated gif: a.k.a animated Graphics international format is a bitmat image format which was introduced by Compuserve in 1987 the format supports up to 8 bits per pixel. It also supports animations and allows a seperate pallet of 256 colours into each frame. An example of a rotating earth which is a gif




Frame: Is a single one of a series of still transparent pictures forming a cinema,television, or video film. A series of frames create motion pictures.

Mirror: Is to turn an image over, to reflect an image as if it is in a mirror.



















Crop: Is the tool which helps to cut off unwanted parts of an image.


Jpeg: Which stands for Joint photographic experts group is a storage method that has 10.1 compression with little perceptable loss in image quality.


CPU: Which stands for the Central Processing Unit is the portion of a computer that carries out the instructions of a computer program and is the primary element carrying out thecomputers functions.
